Secretary of State Brian Kemp’s Office Releases Personal Data

Today, the AJC reported that a class action lawsuit has been filed alleging “a massive data breach by Secretary of State Brian Kemp involving the Social Security numbers and other private information of more than six million voters statewide.” The AJC has also independently confirmed the inclusion of personal data in the October voter file. This is a matter of great concern for all Georgia voters. Your personal data may have been compromised and I urge you to take the steps necessary to protect your family from identity theft. You may call the three main credit bureaus to ask for an initial alert:

* TransUnion: 800-680-7289 or www.transunion.com
