Field Trip
This committee works with CDW’s First Vice-President in organizing our annual trip to the Georgia State Capitol to tour the facilities and meet with legislators. The committee also plans a purely social annual field trip to locales such as the Little White House in Warm Springs, Georgia.
Membership
This committee works with the CDW’s Second Vice-President to recruit new members, makes follow-up phone calls, maintains the membership database, and greets potential members at events.
Community Events
This committee plans and organizes activities that focus on community outreach and works in conjunction with other local civic organizations. Activities include preparing and staffing our booth at the Juneteenth event in Marietta and at back-to-school jams in Austell and other local cities.
Special Events
This committee helps to organize events such as our annual fundraiser, wine tasting and other meet-and-greet events, and the Holiday Open House.
Public Service Initiatives
This committee focuses on planning seminars and organizing projects that demonstrate CDW’s interest in addressing issues that impact individuals’ quality of life, such as domestic violence awareness.
Publicity
